This offering comprises 255 ewes in total. Of these, 40 carry a black tag from the 2024 drop, with the balance carrying a red tag from the 2022 drop. They are purebred Merino ewes of Kamballie bloodline and are currently NSM/unjoined.
Breeding credentials
Progeny of these ewes were winners of last year's Newdegate WA ewe hogget competition, and the line marked 110% lambs this year. They are well suited to breeding and restocker programs.
Wool and condition
The ewes cut 6kg of wool, skirted. Expected fat scores are FS-3 (11-15mm) and FS-4 (16-20mm), with an expected average weight of around 95kg. They are fit to load and free of lice, footrot and blemishes.
Health and treatments
The ewes are mulesed and have been vaccinated as lambs with 4 in 1, and backlined off shears. There are no withholding periods in place.
